History of the Emerson's

The first Emersons came to Boston in 1635 as pioneers and patriots. A couple greats of the Emerson Family include: Ralph Waldo Emerson and Frank C. Emerson.

Ralph Waldo Emerson whose original profession and calling was as a Unitarian minister, left the ministry to pursue a career in writing and public speaking. Emerson became one of America's best known and best loved 19th century figures.

Frank C. Emerson graduated from the University of Michigan as an engineer and occupied a job in Wyoming. Later he was a commissioner on the Hoover Dam, and then to the office of

Governor of Wyoming.

I, Myself, George Emerson , a retired US Army corp engineer will carry on the Patriot spirit to the end with this publication.
